I am instantly turned off when someone says they are bored.
I don’t understand how people can be “bored.” We live in a 1st World Country with an “open 24hr” culture, we have access to the internet and vast libraries, and most of us have the ability to leave our environment and enter a new one. Perhaps “lonely” is the word people are looking for.
I never regret spending money on books.
